Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Carmella Reveals Unaired Gimmick

Carmella, currently out of action due to injury, has revealed an unaired gimmick she developed during her time in WWE. The gimmick, dubbed “Untouchable,” was initially introduced in 2020 but was short-lived, with Carmella quickly returning to her “Princess of Staten Island” persona.

In response to a fan on Twitter, Carmella clarified that she wasn’t opposed to the “Untouchable” gimmick, but rather that the execution didn’t align with her original vision. Today, she shared the introductory segment for the character, which has never been seen by the public before.

It’s not that I didn’t like it. I just didn’t want a new character. And it didn’t pan out the way it originally started so it felt like I wasn’t doing the character justice.
