At WWE Clash at the Castle on June 15, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest experienced a concerning incident during his match with Drew McIntyre. While executing a high-risk springboard move, Priest’s ankle became entangled in the ropes, causing a near-disaster.

Despite this setback, Priest persevered and completed the match, albeit with a noticeable limp. During the post-show press conference, he revealed, “It feels like trash right now. I didn’t even go to medical yet… Docs will check it out, but I ain’t going anywhere. I was able to beat Drew McIntyre on one foot so I’m pretty sure I’m all good to go.”

Dave Meltzer, on Wrestling Observer Radio, offered additional information, stating, “I actually heard from them and the preliminary news wasn’t bad, they’re actually saying it’s like a miracle. It wasn’t as bad as they feared, but nothing is conclusive.”

As news of the injury scare circulates, WWE fans are relieved by the positive outlook regarding Priest’s condition. His determination to finish the match despite the mishap is a testament to his resilience. Ringside News will continue to monitor Damian Priest’s health and provide updates as they become available.
