In a thrilling NXT Heritage Cup match, Charlie Dempsey successfully defended his title against Je’Von Evans. The match was contested over five rounds, with each wrestler scoring falls along the way. Dempsey took the lead in round two, but Evans managed to even the score in the third round.

The match intensified in the later rounds, with both competitors showcasing their skills and determination. Cedric Alexander, who was in Evans’ corner, got involved when Dempsey refused to release a submission hold after the bell. Heights, who had just returned from competing in Japan’s NOAH N-1 Tournament, played a crucial role in the match’s outcome.
