Bronson Reed eyes potential showdown with Damian Priest, praises former NXT rival’s success
“Big” Bronson Reed has been making waves in WWE recently, taking down notable wrestlers like Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman with his signature “Tsunami” move. In a recent interview, Reed discussed the possibility of facing former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest. Reed expressed respect for Priest, whom he worked with in NXT, and praised Priest’s championship win as a validation of their era in NXT.
Reed and Priest have a history of competing against each other, having shared the ring eight times in various matches. These include battle royals, a Men’s Elimination Chamber match in 2023, and several encounters in NXT. Reed hinted at the possibility of a future match against Priest in WWE, suggesting it would be “magic” when it happens. He also mentioned his own aspirations to achieve similar success as Priest and GUNTHER, who have represented their NXT era as champions on the main roster.
