Arn Anderson reveals mixed feelings about son Brock’s premature AEW debut

Arn Anderson, a veteran wrestler, recently shared his thoughts on his son Brock’s debut in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in June 2021. Despite appreciating the opportunity given by AEW’s Tony Khan, Arn felt that Brock’s introduction to professional wrestling was premature. He believed his son needed more experience away from the television spotlight before making his debut.

The decision to debut Brock was made quickly, just hours before an AEW Dynamite show. Arn recounted how he was informed of the decision in Khan’s office, feeling he couldn’t refuse the opportunity given AEW’s importance in providing an alternative in the wrestling industry. This sudden debut came after Arn had previously advised Brock to complete college before considering a wrestling career. Following his graduation, Brock pursued his passion for wrestling, making his first public appearance in a tag team match with Cody Rhodes in AEW. Brock continued to wrestle for AEW after Rhodes’ departure, participating in numerous matches until his contract ended last year.
