AEW Champion Bryan Danielson to Address Future Amid Retirement Speculation

Bryan Danielson recently won the AEW World Championship at AEW All In, but his victory has raised questions about his future in wrestling. Danielson has previously stated his intention to leave full-time wrestling soon, and he’s expected to address fans on tonight’s “Dynamite” show.

Tommy Dreamer, speaking on “Busted Open Radio,” discussed the situation and its potential impact. He suggested that AEW could use Danielson’s potential retirement as a storyline, with each match potentially being his last until he loses the title. This approach, Dreamer believes, could boost attendance as fans wouldn’t want to miss Danielson’s final match.

Dreamer expressed optimism that Danielson won’t retire immediately. He speculated that Danielson might acknowledge his responsibility to wrestling fans while balancing it with family commitments. Dreamer envisions a scenario where Danielson continues wrestling on a reduced schedule, perhaps only appearing twice a week, to fulfill his role as champion while also prioritizing his family.
