Frankie Kazarian and Joe Hendry, both wrestlers from TNA Wrestling, made surprise appearances on this week’s WWE NXT Championship number one contenders battle royal, despite not being part of the WWE locker room. Hendry’s entrance was met with a particularly loud reaction from the audience, and he now asserts that the moment has been immortalized in the most liked X video since WWE WrestleMania 40.

During a recent episode of “Busted Open Radio,” Hendry’s TNA colleagues Nic Nemeth and Tommy Dreamer discussed the ongoing excitement surrounding his “NXT” debut. Nemeth attempted to gauge the overall sentiment, questioning whether the phenomenon was catching on universally. He highlighted the impressive YouTube hits, likes, and other metrics as evidence of its widespread appeal. Nemeth dismissed concerns about Hendry being eliminated first in the battle royal, emphasizing the significance of his appearance in an NXT ring and the audience’s recognition of him. He also noted the interesting dynamic of Hendry interacting with another TNA wrestler with whom he shares an ongoing storyline, as they transition between the two promotions. Nemeth predicted that the clip featuring Hendry would become the second most popular in NXT history, surpassed only by a video of Shawn Michaels twerking.

Tommy Dreamer shared similar thoughts on Hendry’s “NXT” appearance, emphasizing that its success has gone beyond just the X platform, with the video of Hendry’s debut garnering over 260,000 likes on Instagram and an additional 630,000 views on YouTube. Dreamer expressed his enthusiasm for the moment, describing it as a “burst of energy” and a “shock” that left him in disbelief. He conveyed his appreciation for the impact it had on Hendry, the fans, TNA, and NXT as a whole.
