Vince Russo Claims Superiority Over Majority of WCW Roster during Tenure

According to sources, WCW’s fall is once again being discussed due to the docuseries “Who Killed WCW?” Vince Russo, a central figure in the docuseries, recently made a bold claim that his on-air character was better than 80% of the WCW roster at the time.

Russo defended his time in WCW, claiming he wasn’t responsible for the company’s decline. He explained that he put the WCW World Championship on himself due to pressure to increase ratings. Russo acknowledged the animosity towards him, stating that it stems from people believing he was the character he portrayed on-screen.

Russo expressed regret for entering the ring, especially due to incidents like Goldberg allegedly injuring him despite Russo having a concussion.
