WWE’s Odyssey Jones Removed from TV Amid Domestic Violence Allegations
WWE wrestler Odyssey Jones, whose real name is Omari Palmer, has been absent from recent “Raw” tapings due to alleged domestic violence claims. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported that Jones was removed from television after the company became aware of these allegations. However, no charges have been filed against Palmer at this time, and other WWE talent have not been informed about the situation.
Palmer had recently joined forces with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of the New Day, making regular appearances on “Raw” since last month. His last in-ring appearance was on August 19, when the trio defeated The Final Testament. Palmer joined WWE in 2019 and spent several years in the NXT developmental system before being called up to the main roster earlier this year.
According to reports from Fightful Select and PWInsider Elite, Palmer has been removed from WWE’s creative plans for the foreseeable future. Despite being in the midst of a storyline with prominent performers, including former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, there are currently no plans for Palmer’s character. However, he is still listed on the company’s internal roster, leaving his status somewhat uncertain.
