WWE’s ‘Bash in Berlin’ Set to Make History as First Premium Live Event in Germany
WWE is set to make history with its first premium live event in Germany, “Bash in Berlin,” at the Uber Arena. The event features five matches, including three championship bouts and two high-profile feuds. The German audience is expected to be energetic, based on the atmosphere during the recent “WWE SmackDown” episode.
One of the most anticipated matches is the Strap Match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. Their rivalry has escalated since Punk’s return at Survivor Series 2023, with McIntyre taunting Punk on social media and refusing to return a personal bracelet after defeating him at SummerSlam. The intense feud led to Punk attacking McIntyre with a belt, setting the stage for their upcoming confrontation.
Another highlight of the event is the World Heavyweight Championship match between GUNTHER and Randy Orton. The two wrestlers have clashed multiple times leading up to this bout, with their rivalry intensifying after GUNTHER’s controversial victory over Orton in the King of the Ring final. GUNTHER aims to retain his title by avoiding Orton’s signature RKO move in what promises to be an exciting championship showdown.
