WWE Raw sees viewership boost despite strong NFL competition, ranks first in 18-49 demographic
The latest episode of WWE Raw on September 16 saw a boost in viewership and ratings compared to the previous week. The show attracted 1,509,000 viewers, a 6% increase from the week before. The key 18-49 demographic rating also improved to 0.49, up from 0.45. However, these numbers were still lower than the four-week average. The first hour of Raw had the highest viewership and ratings, with numbers gradually decreasing throughout the show.
Raw’s performance was particularly noteworthy as it faced stiff competition from Monday Night Football, which drew over 13.65 million viewers. Despite this, Raw managed to rank first in the 18-49 demographic among non-NFL programming. The episode featured several notable events, including CM Punk’s return and a promo against Drew McIntyre, Judgment Day successfully defending their tag team titles against The New Day, and Damian Priest defeating Dominik Mysterio in the main event.
