WWE Legend Rikishi Suggests Bloodline Needs Strong Babyface Rivals, Teases Potential ‘Bloodline Civil War’
The Bloodline, a dominant faction in WWE, has evolved into a formidable force led by Solo Sikoa, with Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. Their recent capture of the WWE Tag Team Championships marks the beginning of their quest for total dominance. However, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi believes there’s still something missing from the group’s current iteration.
On a recent podcast, Rikishi suggested that The Bloodline needs to face a strong babyface team to reach its full potential. He proposed a team similar to DX as worthy opponents, emphasizing the importance of pairing The Bloodline with the right adversaries to bring out their best. While acknowledging the star power of current rivals like Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens, Rikishi stressed that great heels are necessary to create great babyfaces.
Rikishi also highlighted the significance of proper booking for the new Bloodline. He noted that while facing established stars helps newcomers like Tonga, Fatu, and Loa gain recognition, the ultimate goal should be building towards a “Bloodline Civil War” between Sikoa’s new group and Roman Reigns’ original faction. This potential storyline, according to Rikishi, is what fans are eagerly anticipating.
