WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix praises Dominik Mysterio’s rising star, hints at potential face turn
Beth Phoenix, WWE Hall of Famer, recently shared her thoughts on Dominik Mysterio’s rising stardom in WWE. Phoenix, who last appeared in WWE at Elimination Chamber 2023, praised Mysterio’s ability to generate strong audience reactions and his rapid progression in the ring.
Phoenix highlighted Mysterio’s unique talent for being “easy to hate,” suggesting his character work could eventually lead to a fan-favorite turn. She commended his charisma, versatility, and consistent performance across various roles.
Mysterio has quickly climbed the ranks in WWE, participating in high-profile matches such as his WrestleMania 39 bout against his father, Rey Mysterio. Phoenix noted that Dominik’s determination and natural charisma have been key factors in his success.
In a personal anecdote, Phoenix revealed that Dominik and Rey Mysterio had visited her and Adam Copeland’s home in North Carolina to train. She also mentioned that her daughters are big fans of Dominik.
Regarding her own career, Phoenix disclosed that she is currently a free agent, leaving her future in professional wrestling uncertain.
