WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson argues The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak should have remained unbroken
Ten years ago, Brock Lesnar ended The Undertaker’s legendary 21-0 undefeated streak at WrestleMania 30. This decision remains a hot topic of debate among wrestling fans and experts. Recently, WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson shared his opinion on the matter during his podcast “ARN.”
Anderson believes that The Undertaker’s streak should never have been broken. He explained that The Undertaker is a special and highly respected figure in the wrestling world, both among fans and fellow wrestlers. Anderson argued that The Undertaker could have retired with his streak intact, as defeating him at WrestleMania actually elevated the status of his opponents more than beating him would have.
Interestingly, Anderson himself was involved in one of the closest attempts to end the streak at WrestleMania 18, when he interfered in The Undertaker’s match against Ric Flair. Anderson noted that his involvement in that moment, even though it didn’t break the streak, significantly boosted his own popularity in the days following the event.
