WWE expands global reach with more international Premium Live Events, Booker T praises move
WWE is expanding its international presence by bringing more Premium Live Events (PLEs) to global markets. This move has been praised by WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, who believes it’s long overdue. Booker T recalls the enthusiastic reception WWE received during past tours in Germany, describing the fans as treating wrestlers like rock stars. He considers the effort to schedule more international shows as one of the best decisions made since TKO Group Holdings took over the company.
The recent Bash in Berlin event marks WWE’s seventh PLE of 2024, with half of these events taking place internationally in countries such as Saudi Arabia, France, Australia, and Canada. Looking ahead, WWE plans to continue this trend with a balanced mix of domestic and international shows. Upcoming events include Bad Blood in Atlanta and NXT Halloween Havoc in Hershey, Pennsylvania, while Survivor Series will be held in Canada and Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, both scheduled for November.
