WWE Champion Cody Rhodes Eyes Iron Man Match with Seth Rollins, Praises WrestleMania 40 Performance
Cody Rhodes, the current Undisputed WWE Champion, has expressed interest in facing Seth Rollins in an Iron Man match. In a recent interview, Rhodes praised Rollins’ performance at WrestleMania 40, calling him the event’s MVP. He reflected on their past encounters, including three matches following Rhodes’ return to WWE, and acknowledged the significance of those bouts.
Rhodes and Rollins share a long history, dating back to Rhodes’ first WWE run when he was Rollins’ debut opponent on the main roster. The champion commended Rollins’ in-ring skills and voiced his desire to compete against him in a 60-minute Iron Man match. However, Rhodes also expressed uncertainty about whether fans would want to see another match between them, given the quality of their previous encounters. Additionally, Rhodes mentioned his interest in rewatching their memorable Hell in a Cell match, where he competed despite having a torn pectoral muscle.
