WWE Champion Cody Rhodes Acknowledges Challenges, Potential Threats to His Title Reign
Cody Rhodes, the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, acknowledges the challenges he faces in maintaining his top position. Despite his recent victory over Kevin Owens, Rhodes is aware that Roman Reigns and other WWE stars could potentially overtake him. Speaking at a press conference, Rhodes expressed gratitude for his current status but recognizes the competitive nature of his role.
Rhodes highlighted that while he doesn’t feel insecure, he understands the continuous challenge of staying at the top. He mentioned that being a “poster boy” for WWE is special, but he knows it won’t last forever. The champion also noted that his competition isn’t limited to Roman Reigns, pointing out John Cena’s farewell run as another potential threat. Meanwhile, Reigns, who recently helped Rhodes against The Bloodline at SummerSlam, has been off television since August due to a storyline attack. However, it’s expected that Reigns will eventually return to pursue the championship title once again.
