Wrestling Legend Sycho Sid Passes Away at 63, Remembered by Fellow Wrestler Jeff Jarrett
Sid Eudy, known to wrestling fans as Sycho Sid, Sid Vicious, and simply Sid, passed away on August 26, 2024, at the age of 63 after a long battle with cancer. His son announced the news, describing his father as a man of strength, kindness, and love whose presence will be greatly missed.
Jeff Jarrett, a fellow wrestler and AEW star, shared his thoughts on Sid’s passing during his “My World” podcast. Jarrett described Sid as a “good old country boy from eastern Arkansas” with a unique look, but also as a surprisingly sweet person. He emphasized that Sid had his priorities in order from the beginning, focusing on God, family, and friends. Jarrett also mentioned that they never discussed Sid joining TNA Wrestling in 2002, as Jarrett understood that Sid’s interests lay elsewhere.
