Will Ospreay slams MJF ahead of AEW All In championship match, criticizes tactics and lack of respect
The rivalry between Will Ospreay and Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) has intensified ahead of their American Championship match at AEW All In. In a recent interview, Ospreay expressed his strong dislike for MJF, stating that he cannot find any respect for him, unlike other opponents he’s faced.
Ospreay criticized MJF for making insensitive comments about his recently deceased grandmother, calling it a cheap tactic to get audience reactions. He also accused MJF of advancing in the industry by “kissing the right asses” rather than through merit.
The upcoming championship match follows MJF’s victory over Ospreay for the AEW International Championship on the 250th episode of AEW Dynamite. After winning, MJF redesigned and renamed the title to the American Championship. Since then, he has defended the belt in various countries, including Mexico, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
This ongoing feud has not only put Ospreay and MJF at odds but has also created tension between MJF and AEW President Tony Khan.
