Will Ospreay returns to Wembley Stadium for AEW All In 2024, challenging MJF for American Championship
Will Ospreay is set to return to Wembley Stadium for AEW All In 2024, where he will challenge MJF for the American Championship. This marks Ospreay’s second appearance at the iconic venue, following his match against Chris Jericho at All In 2023.
In a recent interview, Ospreay reflected on his journey from backyard wrestling in England to performing at Wembley Stadium. He noted the increased exposure he’s received since joining AEW and how it differs from his previous experiences in the wrestling world.
Ospreay’s return to the UK for All In has led to encounters with old friends from the British independent scene, causing him to reflect on his career progress. He described these experiences as overwhelmingly positive.
The significance of wrestling at Wembley Stadium is not lost on Ospreay. Despite growing up near London and working close to the venue before becoming a full-time wrestler, last year’s event was his first time performing there. The experience was so impactful that Ospreay got a commemorative tattoo, something he had never done before.
Ospreay emphasized the legendary status of Wembley Stadium, noting that performing there is an achievement that even some of the biggest names in professional wrestling haven’t accomplished.
