Wes Lee and Zachary Wentz set for intense showdown at NXT No Mercy amid WWE-TNA partnership
Former tag team partners Zachary Wentz and Wes Lee are set to face off in a singles match at “NXT” No Mercy following a surprising betrayal. In a recent interview, Lee expressed confidence in his star power, stating that he doesn’t need a championship to be seen as a superstar. He views himself as the “measuring stick of NXT” and believes Wentz should feel fortunate to be in a match with him.
The match between Lee and Wentz is part of the ongoing partnership between WWE and TNA Wrestling. Wentz, who was previously released from WWE in April 2022 due to controversial photographs, has since returned to TNA Wrestling. He recently won the X-Division Championship at TNA Emergence. Lee, on the other hand, holds the record for the longest reign as NXT North American Champion in WWE history. This clash between former partners and champions promises to be an intense showdown at No Mercy.
