Von Erich Brothers Reveal How Chance Meeting with Dustin Rhodes Led to AEW/ROH Success
Marshall and Ross Von Erich, now champions in AEW/ROH, recently shared the story of their partnership with Dustin Rhodes. The brothers met Rhodes by chance before a show in Austin, Texas, and the trio quickly hit it off. Rhodes immediately spoke with Tony Khan, leading to their first match together on AEW Rampage in February. The partnership was rekindled over the summer during AEW’s residency near Dallas.
The Von Erichs have nothing but praise for working with the veteran Rhodes, crediting him for helping them appreciate the significance of their ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship win at AEW Battle of the Belts XI. Since then, the brothers have continued to make appearances in both AEW and ROH, including a match at the Zero Hour pre-show for AEW All In. They also secured their first AEW win as a duo against The Outrunners on AEW Rampage, indicating a growing presence for the Von Erichs in both promotions.
