Uncle Howdy triumphs in WWE Raw debut, honoring Bray Wyatt’s legacy amid chaotic interference
Uncle Howdy, leader of the Wyatt Sicks, made his wrestling debut on WWE Raw, defeating Chad Gable. The match took place two days after the first anniversary of Bray Wyatt’s passing. Howdy entered carrying Wyatt’s signature lantern.
The fight was initially even, but grew intense with both wrestlers exchanging powerful moves. Gable performed an Angle Slam on Howdy outside the ring. Later, Ivy Nile distracted the referee, allowing Gable to apply an Ankle Lock on Howdy. In retaliation, Howdy caught Gable in a Mandible Claw.
The match saw interference from multiple wrestlers. The Creed Brothers attacked Howdy, while Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan, and Joe Gacy came to Howdy’s aid, battling the Creeds. Nile attempted to intervene but was overpowered.
In the final moments, Gable tried a moonsault, but Howdy countered, executing a Sister Abigail to secure the win in his first match.
