TNA Wrestling grants Gisele Shaw’s release, wrestler to complete final commitments before departure
Gisele Shaw, a prominent wrestler in TNA, has requested and been granted her release from the promotion. TNA agreed to Shaw’s request on the condition that she complete her commitments at the Louisville tapings and put over another talent before leaving. The process was described as smooth, with TNA not attempting to change Shaw’s decision.
Shaw joined TNA in 2022 after making a name for herself in UK promotions like RevPro and PROGRESS Wrestling, where she held the Women’s Championship. Despite being featured prominently in TNA and challenging for titles in various promotions, she didn’t capture any championships during her two-year stint. Her last notable feud was with Tasha Steelz, whom she defeated on a recent episode of “TNA Impact.”
Looking ahead, Shaw is expected to play a significant role in the relaunched Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, run by her former TNA boss Scott D’Amore. She’s scheduled to appear at the promotion’s comeback show, Forged In Excellence, in October. It remains uncertain whether other major promotions like AEW or WWE will show interest in signing Shaw.
