TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace to defend title on WWE NXT during “WWE Week” on USA Network
Next week, the USA Network will host all three WWE shows – Raw, NXT, and SmackDown – in what they’re calling “WWE Week.” To make this event even more exciting, TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace has announced a special opportunity. On the September 10 episode of NXT, Grace will defend her TNA Knockouts Championship in an open challenge match, marking the first time this title has been defended on WWE programming.
This announcement comes as part of an ongoing collaboration between WWE and TNA Wrestling. Grace has previously appeared on NXT, including a challenge for the NXT Women’s Championship against Roxanne Perez at NXT Battleground. Although she lost that match, Grace has had success against other NXT talents, both on NXT and in TNA. Now, she returns to NXT to face a new challenger from the brand’s roster, adding an intriguing cross-promotional element to the upcoming “WWE Week” celebrations.
