Swerve Strickland Signs New AEW Contract Ahead of High-Stakes Match at All In
Swerve Strickland has signed a new contract with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The signing took place during the Zero Hour kickoff show before the AEW All In event. Strickland was seen backstage with Prince Nana, signing the contract before handing it to AEW CEO Tony Khan for his signature.
This news follows recent hints by Strickland about ongoing contract negotiations. Wrestling reporter Sean Ross Sapp confirmed that talks between Strickland and Khan had been happening for some time. However, details about the contract’s length and financial terms have not been disclosed.
Strickland is set to wrestle in the main event of AEW All In against Bryan Danielson, a former WWE star. There’s a high-stakes stipulation for Danielson, who reportedly will never wrestle again if he loses. Despite this, Danielson is currently favored to win according to betting odds.
