Swerve Strickland and Adam Page set for steel cage match at AEW All Out, Bully Ray questions storyline logic
Former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland and “Hangman” Adam Page are set to face off in a steel cage match at All Out on September 7. This comes after Page interfered in Strickland’s title match at All In. WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray shared his thoughts on the segment that set up this match, praising the psychology behind the steel cage stipulation.
However, Bully Ray expressed concern about the logic of the storyline. He felt Page’s reaction to Strickland’s revelation of invading his home again was unrealistic, stating that most men would have reacted more aggressively. Bully Ray also questioned Page’s role as the heel in the feud, pointing out that Strickland’s actions and Page’s inability to defeat him so far make Page seem more like an underdog.
