Shayna Baszler Signs Multi-Year Contract Extension with WWE, Solidifying Future with Company
Shayna Baszler, a former NXT Women’s Champion, has renewed her contract with WWE, signing a multi-year deal. This comes as WWE has been successfully re-signing several major talents whose contracts were set to expire in 2024. Baszler, known for her easy-going attitude and willingness to help newer talent, is highly regarded within the company.
At 44 years old, Baszler has had an impressive career spanning both MMA and professional wrestling. She was a pioneer in women’s MMA with a record of 15 wins and 11 losses before transitioning to WWE in 2017. Since joining WWE, she has achieved significant success, winning the NXT Women’s Championship twice and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship three times. Recently, Baszler has been receiving more television time on “WWE Raw” and has joined the Pure Fusion Collective alongside Sonya Deville and Zoey Stark.
