Rob Van Dam Declines to Participate in Netflix’s Vince McMahon Docuseries, Hopes for Comprehensive Coverage
Netflix is producing a docuseries about Vince McMahon, the controversial figure in modern pro wrestling. While many wrestlers are expected to participate, Rob Van Dam (RVD) has declined multiple offers to appear on the show. On his podcast, RVD explained that participating wouldn’t align with his current position in the wrestling industry. However, he expressed hope that the series would cover a wide range of topics rather than focusing on a few select aspects of McMahon’s story.
In the past, RVD has spoken about his professional relationship with McMahon, describing it as positive and open to discussion, though not close on a personal level. RVD also expressed surprise at the recent allegations and lawsuit against McMahon, particularly regarding leaked text messages. Despite choosing not to participate in the docuseries, RVD is known for openly sharing his opinions about his former employer.
