Rhea Ripley changes tune, now wants Bianca Belair match only at WrestleMania
Rhea Ripley has changed her stance on a potential match with Bianca Belair. Initially, Ripley believed they could face each other at any time, but now she thinks their match should only happen at WrestleMania due to its significance.
Ripley praised Belair’s skills and expressed her desire to compete against her. She believes their match would be highly anticipated and too important to waste on a lesser event. Ripley also noted that they are both featured on the cover of WWE 2K24, adding to the match’s prestige.
The two were originally scheduled to compete for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank 2022, but Ripley’s injury led to Carmella replacing her. Their last televised singles match took place in February 2020 at NXT TakeOver Portland, where Ripley successfully defended her NXT Women’s Championship against Belair.
