Pete Dunne and Trick Williams set for Last Man Standing match with NXT Championship opportunity at stake
The intense rivalry between Pete Dunne and Trick Williams reached new heights on WWE NXT when their match ended in a double countout after both wrestlers crashed through the announce table. In response, NXT General Manager Ava has scheduled a Last Man Standing match between the two for next week. The winner of this high-stakes bout will earn a shot at Ethan Page’s NXT Championship on October 1st, when NXT makes its debut on the CW Network.
This upcoming NXT episode on October 1st will be a significant event, taking place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago. It will mark NXT’s transition from the USA Network to the CW Network and will feature a special appearance by Chicago’s own CM Punk, a former WWE Champion. Additionally, next week’s show will include an open challenge from TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace, who last appeared on NXT in a match against NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez at NXT Battleground.
