Page-Strickland feud escalates to arson in AEW, Bully Ray compares to “War of the Roses”
The intense rivalry between wrestlers “Hangman” Adam Page and Swerve Strickland has reached new heights of personal conflict and violence in AEW. The feud recently escalated with an act of arson on “AEW Dynamite.” WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray compared the rivalry to the dark comedy film “War of the Roses,” noting the extreme actions taken by both wrestlers against each other.
The conflict has involved deeply personal attacks, with Strickland reportedly showing up at Page’s house and standing over his child’s crib. Strickland also claimed to have watched Page take his pregnant wife to the hospital. In response, Page allegedly burned down Strickland’s house. This back-and-forth of increasingly serious actions has shocked observers, including Bully Ray.
As a result of these events, Page and Strickland are now set to face each other in the main event of AEW All Out. The match will be an Unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage match, promising a brutal confrontation between the two rivals. Bully Ray expressed hope that the match will feature a intense brawl within the cage, without the use of external weapons.
