Okada Retains AEW Continental Championship, Sets Stage for All Out Four-Way Match
In a thrilling match on AEW Dynamite, Kazuchika Okada successfully defended his AEW Continental Championship against Kyle Fletcher. The bout, which took place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was highly competitive and had the crowd on their feet. Despite Fletcher’s strong performance and near-victory, Okada managed to secure the win with a controversial low blow followed by his signature Rainmaker finisher.
The aftermath of the match set the stage for the upcoming All Out event on September 7 in Chicago. Konosuke Takeshita, a member of the Don Callis Family stable, confronted Okada post-match. This interaction hinted at a potential face-off between the two at All Out. To determine Okada’s opponents for a four-way match at the event, three Continental Contenders Challenge matches have been scheduled: Takeshita vs. The Beast Mortos, Orange Cassidy vs. Bryan Keith, and Mark Briscoe vs. Lance Archer.
