Nigel McGuinness Makes Shocking Return to Wrestling at AEW All In After 13-Year Hiatus
Nigel McGuinness made a surprise return to wrestling after 13 years at AEW All In in London. He entered the Casino Gauntlet match to the shock of fans and even most of the backstage personnel. The appearance was kept so secret that only a handful of people knew about it beforehand.
McGuinness had been medically cleared to wrestle for some time and had been preparing for a potential return. While he doesn’t plan to wrestle full-time again, preferring his role as a commentator, there are hints of future involvement in the ring. AEW President Tony Khan has teased a possible storyline between McGuinness and Christian Cage. Additionally, McGuinness has expressed interest in a final match against his long-time rival Bryan Danielson, which he says could bring him out of retirement.
