New Day faces internal strife as Karrion Kross sows discord, TNA champ suggests Kofi Kingston heel turn
Karrion Kross’s efforts to create division within the New Day are showing results. Kofi Kingston has brought in Odyssey Jones for support, but Xavier Woods is wary of trusting newcomers. Woods shared a clip of Kevin Owens betraying the New Day in 2019 to justify his skepticism.
The growing tension between Woods and Kingston has led to speculation about a potential split in the long-standing WWE group. While many think Woods might turn on Kingston due to Kross’s focus on him, TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth suggests a different scenario.
Nemeth proposes that Kingston turning heel would be more interesting. He suggests Kingston could be influenced by Kross’s words, particularly about Woods being the only New Day member without a world title in WWE. Nemeth envisions Kingston potentially using Jones to attack Woods.
Drawing a parallel to D-Generation X, Nemeth recalls how conflicts between Triple H and Shawn Michaels produced some of the faction’s best matches. Whether the New Day will overcome this internal struggle remains uncertain, but the storyline has allowed the wrestlers to showcase new aspects of their characters.
