Netflix to Release Vince McMahon Documentary Amid Ongoing Sex Trafficking Lawsuit Investigation
A new Netflix documentary about former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is set to be released on September 25. Titled “Mr. McMahon,” the documentary will explore McMahon’s rise and fall, including the recent sex trafficking lawsuit filed against him by Janel Grant. The project is helmed by Chris Smith, known for his work on the “Tiger King” series, and features interviews with McMahon himself, his family members, and journalists who investigated the allegations.
During a recent event in Berlin, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes was asked about the upcoming documentary. Rhodes clarified that WWE is not involved in the production, contrary to previous reports. He jokingly mentioned being busy with a Game of Thrones rewatch but admitted he would likely watch the documentary at some point. The lawsuit against McMahon is currently on hold as the Department of Justice conducts an active investigation, while McMahon and his representatives continue to deny the allegations.
