Netflix to Release “Mr. McMahon” Docuseries on Former WWE CEO Vince McMahon’s Career and Controversies
A new Netflix docuseries titled “Mr. McMahon” is set to premiere on September 25, offering an in-depth look at the career of former WWE CEO Vince McMahon. The six-episode series will feature McMahon himself recounting his five-decade journey in professional wrestling. According to reports, McMahon was extensively interviewed for the project and requested an “honest portrayal” of his life and career.
The series, produced by Bill Simmons and Chris Smith (known for “Tiger King”), aims to cover various controversies in McMahon’s past. However, due to ongoing legal issues, including a lawsuit by Janel Grant against McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE, the content of the series may be affected. While WWE is not officially credited as a producer, the company was reportedly involved to some extent in the creation of the docuseries.
