Netflix to Air Vince McMahon Docuseries: Anticipation Builds for Unfiltered Look at WWE Legend’s Life
Netflix is set to release a docuseries about Vince McMahon’s life on September 25, sparking discussions about its accuracy. Matt Hardy believes Netflix will provide a fair assessment, suggesting it could be positive for WWE if it portrays McMahon as an innovator and great promoter while also addressing his downfall. Hardy thinks the series will generate interest in WWE ahead of its Netflix debut.
According to Dave Meltzer, McMahon participated in several interviews for the docuseries and encouraged an honest portrayal. Those involved in the production reportedly felt no pressure regarding content restrictions. Interestingly, WWE has no production rights for the show, meaning the promotion won’t be officially associated with the docuseries despite McMahon’s strong connection to WWE.
