MJF and Ospreay set for AEW All In rematch, Tiger Driver ’91 controversy fuels tension
The upcoming AEW All In event in London on August 25 will feature a highly anticipated rematch between MJF and Will Ospreay for the AEW American Championship. This follows their previous 60-minute match on AEW Dynamite, where MJF won the title and later renamed it.
A key point of contention in their feud is the Tiger Driver ’91 move. Ospreay had vowed to retire this move after a dangerous incident with Bryan Danielson. However, many, including Danielson, have encouraged Ospreay to use it against MJF at Wembley Stadium.
MJF, speaking on a radio show, criticized Ospreay’s reluctance to use the move. He argued that Ospreay lacks the “killer instinct” needed to be a top wrestler. MJF said, “Will Ospreay, much like me, is the complete package. But… he lacks a killer instinct.” He went on to make disparaging comments about Ospreay and the United Kingdom, suggesting that Ospreay’s nationality is the reason for his perceived lack of ruthlessness.
