MJF and Daniel Garcia set for grudge match at AEW All Out following heated rivalry and championship loss
A heated rivalry between MJF and Daniel Garcia is set to culminate in a grudge match at All Out on September 7. The announcement came during Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, following MJF’s loss of the International Championship to Will Ospreay at All In. After the defeat, MJF, who calls himself the “American Hero,” declared he was renouncing his nationality and had words for both Ospreay and Garcia.
The feud between MJF and Garcia has been brewing since July when MJF viciously attacked Garcia, causing a neck injury that temporarily sidelined him. Garcia made a surprise return at All In, interfering in MJF’s match against Ospreay and contributing to his loss. This interference led to a confrontation on Dynamite, where Garcia challenged MJF to a match at All Out. This will mark only their second one-on-one encounter, with their previous match in November 2023 ending in MJF’s successful defense of the AEW World Championship.
