Mercedes Mone’s triumphant return to AEW All In: From spectator to champion in one year
Mercedes Mone has had a remarkable journey with All Elite Wrestling’s All In event. In 2023, she attended as a special guest at Wembley Stadium, nursing a broken heel and contemplating her future in wrestling. Fast forward to 2024, and Mone returned to the same event as a competitor, successfully defending her TBS Championship against Britt Baker.
In a recent interview, Mone expressed her excitement about the experience, describing it as a dream come true. She highlighted the electric atmosphere of the crowd and looked forward to next year’s All In event in Dallas, Texas. Mone also emphasized her satisfaction with being the face of TBS and praised AEW for creating an exciting time in professional wrestling.
Following her victory, Mone celebrated her championship win backstage during an episode of AEW Dynamite. The celebration was briefly interrupted by Private Party members Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen, but with the assistance of AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada, Mone was able to continue her party unhindered.
