Mercedes Mone reveals close bond with cousin Snoop Dogg, credits his support in wrestling career
Mercedes Mone, a professional wrestler, has revealed details about her relationship with her famous cousin, rapper Snoop Dogg. Despite being related, Mone didn’t know Snoop until she was around 10 years old. Their bond truly formed when Snoop took her to WrestleMania 24 when she was 16. It was at this event that Mone shared her dream of becoming a wrestler with Snoop, who has been supportive ever since.
Snoop Dogg’s support for Mone’s wrestling career has been significant. He contributed to her former WWE theme song and even walked her down to the ring for her match at WrestleMania 32. Recently, Mone has been enjoying success in her wrestling career. She successfully defended her TBS Championship against Dr. Britt Baker at the All In event, despite noting some “audience fatigue.” Additionally, she retained her NJPW Strong Women’s Championship in a match against Momo Watanabe at NJPW’s Capital Collision.
