LA Knight retains US Championship in fierce battle against Ludwig Kaiser on WWE SmackDown in Germany
In a surprising turn of events on “WWE SmackDown,” Ludwig Kaiser from “WWE Raw” answered LA Knight’s open challenge for the United States Championship. The match took place in Germany, with Kaiser vowing to rename the title as his personal European Championship if he won. The bout began with both wrestlers evenly matched, but soon Kaiser showcased his aggressive side by attacking Knight outside the ring.
The match was intense, with Kaiser dominating for a significant portion and using moves that had previously injured other wrestlers. Knight, however, managed to fight back, executing impressive maneuvers like a neckbreaker and an elbow drop from the second rope. Despite Kaiser’s strong performance, including a Death Valley Driver and a near-pin, Knight ultimately secured the victory by countering Kaiser’s move and landing his finishing move, the BFT.
