Joe Hendry’s WWE NXT Debut a Last-Minute Surprise
Joe Hendry, a TNA star known for his musical talent, made a surprise appearance on the June 18 episode of WWE NXT. He participated in a 25-man battle royal, but was quickly eliminated by fellow TNA star Frankie Kazarian.
In an interview, Hendry revealed that he found out about his WWE NXT debut only a day before it happened. “I had 2 flights booked, one if it was happening and one if it wasn’t happening, but I didn’t know for sure until the day before,” Hendry stated. He flew directly to Orlando after recording a podcast.
Fans expressed disappointment over Hendry’s swift elimination, feeling he deserved more time in the spotlight. However, sources indicate that WWE has plans for Hendry to make future appearances on their programming. The exact date of his next appearance remains unknown.
