Joe Hendry’s musical mockery of Ethan Page escalates tension ahead of NXT No Mercy title match
During Tuesday’s WWE NXT, Joe Hendry’s musical antics continued to provoke NXT Champion Ethan Page. Hendry performed a comical song about Page, complete with embarrassing photos and crowd participation. The tension escalated when General Manager Ava announced a special guest referee for their upcoming title match at No Mercy: Trick Williams, another of Page’s rivals.
The segment reached its climax with Hendry mockingly pinning Page, while Williams counted to three. However, the drama didn’t end there. Pete Dunne, Williams’ own rival, appeared on stage with a menacing message. He hinted at potential interference before next week’s NXT, suggesting he might make an appearance at No Mercy as well. This added layer of conflict sets the stage for a potentially chaotic and unpredictable championship match.
