Jim Ross praises Swerve Strickland’s performance in AEW title loss, Strickland set for Cage Match with Hangman Page
Swerve Strickland’s reign as AEW World Champion came to an end at AEW All In: London in a highly-praised match against Bryan Danielson. Jim Ross, speaking on his podcast, commended Strickland’s performance, stating that he acted professionally throughout the match. Ross emphasized that Strickland did everything necessary to make Danielson’s victory believable and effective, calling it “the mark of a pro.”
Despite losing the championship, Strickland has quickly moved on to his next challenge. He’s reignited his rivalry with Hangman Page, with the two having a heated confrontation on a recent episode of AEW Dynamite. Fans can look forward to seeing these old rivals face off again in a Cage Match at the upcoming All Out pay-per-view event.
