Jim Ross advises caution in Ricochet’s AEW integration, emphasizes need for gradual development
Jim Ross, a commentator for AEW, has shared his thoughts on how the company should handle Ricochet following his surprise debut at All In 2024. While Ricochet’s appearance was brief, it served as a reminder of his exceptional high-flying abilities. However, Ross cautioned that AEW should be careful with Ricochet’s integration into the roster, noting that many AEW stars are equally athletic.
Ross emphasized the importance of not rushing Ricochet’s progress in AEW. He explained that due to the high level of athleticism among AEW performers, Ricochet needs time to differentiate himself. Ross suggested that AEW should allow Ricochet to gain popularity naturally, as the initial excitement of his arrival will eventually fade. While Ross admires Ricochet’s talents and sees great potential in him, he believes a measured approach is necessary for Ricochet’s success in his new wrestling home following his departure from WWE in July.
