Jey Uso Hints at Possible Tag Team with Sami Zayn, Eyeing WWE Tag Team Championship
Jey Uso, despite his success as a singles competitor, is contemplating a return to tag team wrestling. However, he’s not looking to reunite with his brother Jimmy. Instead, Uso expressed interest in forming a tag team with former Bloodline member Sami Zayn. In a recent interview, Uso praised his on-screen chemistry with Zayn, describing their time together in The Bloodline as one of the best periods of his wrestling career.
The potential pairing of Uso and Zayn has historical significance. Zayn was a key figure in The Bloodline storyline, which was critically acclaimed and culminated in Zayn teaming with Kevin Owens to end the Usos’ record-breaking tag team title reign at WrestleMania 39. Currently, both Uso and Zayn are focused on individual pursuits on WWE Raw, with Zayn seeking a World Heavyweight Championship opportunity and Uso preparing for an Intercontinental Championship match. However, recent interactions between the two have hinted at the possibility of them forming a regular tag team, potentially challenging the current World Tag Team Champions, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day.
