Jamie Hayter makes surprise return to AEW after 15-month injury layoff, confronts Saraya at All In Zero Hour
After a 15-month absence due to injury, Jamie Hayter made a surprise comeback to AEW during the All In Zero Hour kickoff show. The former women’s world champion confronted Saraya and her family, who had been boasting about British wrestling superiority. Hayter swiftly attacked the Knight family and nearly got to Saraya before she escaped with help from Harley Cameron. Hayter then delivered a powerful clothesline to Cameron and celebrated with her home country fans.
Hayter’s last appearance was at AEW Double or Nothing 2023, where she lost her title to Toni Storm despite already being injured. This injury forced her to miss last year’s Wembley Stadium event, and her participation in this year’s show was uncertain until recently.
It’s worth noting that Hayter is a close ally of Britt Baker, who will be competing against Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship later in the evening.
