Jamie Hayter dominates in AEW return, sparking tension with Saraya and Harley Cameron
Former AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter made a strong return to the ring, defeating Saraya’s protégé Harley Cameron in a one-sided match on “AEW Dynamite.” This came after Hayter had previously disrupted Saraya’s entrance at All In: London’s Zero Hour. Following the match, Saraya was seen comforting Cameron backstage and praising her performance despite the loss.
Saraya then issued a warning to Hayter, expressing her frustration with Hayter’s actions both at All In and in the match against Cameron. She declared that she was now “pissed off” and threatened that Cameron would eventually “kick Hayter’s ass.” This confrontation sets the stage for potential future clashes between Saraya and Hayter.
It’s worth noting that Saraya’s in-ring appearances have been infrequent, possibly due to a previous career-ending injury from her time in WWE. Her last match was a losing effort against Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s Championship before All In: London. For now, it appears that Cameron may continue to face Hayter in the ring until Saraya herself is ready to compete.
